I-Flow Dirty Water & Biofilm Detection Sensor.

The Impex dirty water detection sensor continually monitors the drinking water quality 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and indicates when the water quality is below the required quality level. 

The system consists a control unit and a sensor unit.

The control unit has an indicator light and is placed in the service room of the poultry house. The LED light on the control unit indicates the pollution of the water by displaying a color corresponding to the stage of pollution. The maximum stage of pollution that is allowed is set in the Biofilm sensor. When the preset maximum stage is exceeded, the lines are automatically flushed.

The sensor unit is installed in the drinking line. The sensor is suitable for 22 x 22 mm square pipe and round pipe 26.7 mm Ø. The sensor detects the cloudiness of the water by means of light.

To prevent excessive flushing, the maximal number of flushing rounds can be set in the I-Control flush computer. If cloudiness of the water does not dissolve during flushing and the maximal number of flushing rounds has been reached, the computer will emit an alarm indicating that additional action is required.
