Rats don't need much of an invitation. An open feeder, a gap under the lid, a few pellets left out overnight and you've got a pest problem alongside your flock. The Heritage treadle feeder is built to close that door.

The weight activated treadle only opens when a chicken steps on it. Rats, mice, and wild birds don't trigger it, they're too light. When your bird steps off, it shuts again. Your feed stays sealed, dry, and where it belongs.

Built from galvanised steel and aluminium alloy, it holds up to 11kg of pellets, roughly a week's supply for ten hens. The anti slip treadle gives your birds a secure footing, while the side plates block birds from feeding through the flanks and prevent any risk of a wing becoming trapped if the treadle closes. An anti flick mesh grill at the feed trough stops hens from scattering pellets, and the sloped rear ensures nothing gets stuck at the back.
